In our injection moulding machines, there is a static current in the product(plastic) which falls out from the mould. The operator who touch the product get full electric shock.

Is there any method of making use of different type of plastic purge waste, which is got from injection moulding companies. since different type of plastic like ABS, nylon mixed in melted state, its impossible to recycle. But is there any new techniue to make use of it , other than use for landfilling..

The reason the different types of plastic are segregated before recycling is that when melted together, they don’t blend into a homogeneous mixture. In fact, after cooling back down, they will separate back into even – more – difficult – to – separate mixed plastic solids.

All I can suggest is, since these materials are derived from petroleum, they can be burned for a pretty good amount of energy. The lone exceptions are the PVCs and similar plastics, which give off HCl gas when burned.

Extrusion.. There is a mold or tooling which the molten plastic is forced through to produce a continuous shape.. Extrusion is used to make Plastic window frames, plastic bags, guttering, plastic tubing etc.
Injection.
There is a closed mold or tool which molten plastic is injected into, solidified and then removed.
For example the fittings that you use to fix your guttering to your roof, the dashboard of your car, , the soles of your shoes.. I.e. complex shapes that require dimensions in X, Y and Z axes whereas the Extruded only needs the X and Y axes.
