Although, nowadays, various technologies are capable of producing plastics/metal composites, they all have disadvantages in commen due to serval manufactoring steps and limitations in productivity. As part of the Cluster of Excellence a hybrid multi-component process shell be developed by the combination of metal pressure and plastic injection molding.
